The Window Cleaning
Section Of The Book
You benefit from the many hours I spent learning and perfecting
techniques that really work to produce sparkling, streak-free
windows.
I have tried all types and sizes of professional squeegees. You
will learn which sizes will work best for you.
You will learn how to use an extension pole to get to the windows
in hard to reach places.
Timesaving
Procedures
Perhaps, you have seen a professional window cleaner using the
fanning (or swirling) technique on large commercial windows. It
is where he starts squeegeeing in one spot and draws the squeegee
over the glass, never lifting it off the glass, until he is done.
That method takes a lot of practice and works best on very large
windows. It is not practical for most home windows.
There are no complicated strokes to learn. I teach you straight
strokes. Everything is explained in detail. This e-book is filled
with timesaving procedures.
There are plenty of pictures in this e-book. I have made it easy
for you. With the text and 214 pictures, you will know exactly what
to do. You will find window washing a breeze. (View sample text
and pictures, a little farther down this page.)

& Text From Chapter 7
Below are parts of a few pages from Chapter 7. It includes steps
in the Long Form. Then there is a break and you will see the Short
Form, which appears at the end of the chapter.

(Right-Hand) Carefully place the squeegee in the upper right corner
of the glass in the dry area at the top. The rubber should not touch
the frame at the top edge. The right side of the channel should
be against the vertical edge of the frame. (Fig. 7-25)

____________________________________________________________
11. Make another (vertical) pass down the glass. Maintain as straight
a line as possible. (Fig. 7-32) Keep the channel in the horizontal
position so the dirty solution does not run out of the dry end onto
the "Dry Side" of the glass that was just cleaned. From
this point on, the task is simply the repetition of what you have
just done. Some windows will take only two passes. Others will take
as many as ten passes.

glass. Do not let the squeegee rubber contact the top edge of the
frame.

8. Dry the squeegee rubber after each pass.
9. Catch the dirty solution from the squeegee channel in a towel.
(High Side to the Dry Side.) Dry the squeegee rubber.
